10/31 - No face paint, no masks, no inflatable costumes, and no costume accessories. School dress code strictly enforced.
FCCLA is collecting socks to donate to Citizens Caring for Children, a local organization who provides hope to children in foster care.
Socks need to be new socks: sizes infant to adult.
Donate in Room 403.
CHS Highlights
OSU Math Day
On Tuesday, October 8th, 39 CHS students participated in OSU Math Day on the Oklahoma State University campus in Stillwater. Students competed both individually and in groups and also had the opportunity to attend breakout sessions led by OSU faculty.
High School News
Monthly Reading Challenge
Students and staff are welcome to participate every month in a monthly genre reading challenge! Each month, the genres will change but there will always be two different genres offered for the challenge.
October's genres are Horror & Gothic Horror!
Participants will read a book(s) corresponding to the monthly genres and, when finished, come to the library and fill out a slip of paper with their book cover, name, and 1-5 star rating! The book can be a library book or a book from home as long as it is school-appropriate. The slips of paper will be displayed on the challenge board in the library. There is no incentive or prize, only the fun of seeing how many books we can read as a school!
