Our Cross Country team ran very well at at the Conference Track Meet with Jordan Rangel placing 10th.

Softball fought hard, but came up short of making the State Tournament.

75 years ago (in the summer of 1949) the R. G. Sallee family donated the land for what we call "Sallee Field".  Volunteers started the effort to level the ground, plant the grass, put up lights, fences and stands. The 1949 season began elsewhere but the new field was ready for dedication and the first game October 6th against Skiatook. Coach Frank Welch was the first of many to lead varsity through 1st grade Cardinal football teams to victory on this historic field. The Northeast corner of Sallee Field (now a parking lot) was the home of Collinsville Baseball and Softball during the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's. The 1972 Softball Team won Collinsville's first ever State Championship here at Sallee Field. Kids of all ages have run and jumped on Sallee Field for elementary track meets and play days. CHS Soccer started here in 1995. Many other sporting and community events have been hosted here over the past 75 years. Thank you to the Sallee family and volunteers for getting it all started.
