Practice tests for the online OSTP assessments are available by clicking the link below. Students can use these practice questions to become familiar with the formatting of the assessment. Wilson teachers will also be using these questions to practice with their students. Congratulations to all the students who were recognized for displaying Courage, our Character Word for March! Your bravery in facing challenges didn’t go unnoticed! As we step into April, we turn our focus to Perseverance—pushing through obstacles, staying committed, and giving our best effort, even when things get tough.
Central America Comes to Life in 3D
Geography students recently created interactive cubes to showcase the diverse features of Central America. Each face of the cube displayed a visual representation of a geographic element—such as landforms, climate, or natural resources—with detailed information on the reverse side. This creative project allowed students to engage deeply with Central America's geography while building skills in research, organization, and presentation. The project offered a fun and unique way to study the geography and complexity of the region.
Water Olympics Lab Makes a Splash!
Students recently took part in the Water Olympics Lab, a hands-on activity exploring the properties of water. They investigated cohesion by racing large water droplets, tested surface tension with folded foil, compared paper towel brands for absorption speed, and experimented with bubble size to study air pressure. The lab provided an engaging way to apply science concepts through fun, interactive challenges.
