Teamwork and Tradition in PE

This week, Collinsville’s Director of Indian Education joined PE classes to teach students the traditional Native American games of stickball and shinny. Students enjoyed learning the history, skills, and teamwork involved in these fun and meaningful activities!

Science Meets Creativity

Students in science class recently wrapped up a creative project over the water cycle by designing and writing their own comics. One student created a story featuring a water droplet named “Kathy” after Mrs. Britt. After reading the comic, Mrs. Britt surprised the student by making a water droplet statue of Kathy based on the character from the story. It was a fun and memorable way to connect creativity with science learning in the classroom and just another reason we all love Mrs. Britt!
