Congrats to Mrs. Wilson — Our Wilson Teacher of the Year!

Congratulations to Mrs. Wilson, who has been named Wilson’s Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Wilson teaches both Art and Science, and her classroom is always full of creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning. Her students love the way she brings lessons to life whether they’re experimenting in science or making something amazing in art. She goes above and beyond for her kids every day, and we’re so excited to celebrate her! Way to go, Mrs. Wilson! We’re lucky to have you at the Wilson 6th Grade Center!

November Character Awards

Congratulations to our students who were recognized for showing Gratitude, November’s character trait of the month. These students stood out for their positive attitudes and appreciation toward others. In December, we will shift our focus to Compassion as we encourage students to look for ways to show kindness and understanding throughout our school community.

Making a Difference Together

Thank you to everyone who participated in our school-wide Food Drive! With your help, we donated 508 pounds of food to support local families. Mrs. Ryder’s class won this year’s drive, bringing in the most items. We appreciate all the students, families, and staff who contributed to making this a successful and meaningful event.

A Big Honor for Our Choir Program!

Congratulations to Aubree Glasscock for earning a spot as an Alternate in the 2026 OMEA Children’s All-State Chorus! This is an incredible achievement that reflects her hard work, talent, and dedication to music. We are so proud to see her representing our school and showcasing her voice at the state level. Way to go, Aubree, we can’t wait to see all you accomplish!

Synthwave Art Project

Mrs. Wilson's traditional art class just wrapped up a project exploring the vibrant, retro-futuristic world of Synthwave. This 1980s-inspired genre is known for its neon colors, glowing grids, and sunset motifs. Our students absolutely crushed it! Each student used the core elements of the style and infused it with their own unique creativity. Every piece is a unique masterpiece!
