January Character Award – Kindness |
January’s character word was Kindness, and we are so proud of the students who were recognized for showing compassion, empathy, and respect to others each day. Thank you for leading with kindness and setting a great example for our school community! |
Skiing Bears Take the Slopes! |
The Traditional Art class put their creativity and imagination to work in a fun winter project called Skiing Bears. Students explored the elements of line and space to create texture, depth, and movement, while using Sharpie and watercolor to bring their bears to life. A special highlight of each piece is the reflection inside the ski goggles, where students illustrated a winter landscape to show perspective and detail. Each student worked incredibly hard, and the results are as unique as they are impressive. We are so proud of their creativity and effort!

Students Dive into Business Research for BizTown |
Students are preparing for BizTown by researching the businesses they will work in and learning about job roles and responsibilities. This preparation helps them build real-world skills before their hands-on experience. |
JA BizTown Field Trip – February 23–25 |
Our students are gearing up for an exciting trip to JA BizTown on February 23–25! JA BizTown is an immersive, student-sized simulation where students run a mock town for a day. The facility allows students to experience real-life scenarios, such as working at a bank or a restaurant, managing a business, and participating in city government. Through this hands-on experience, students build skills in teamwork, responsibility, financial literacy, and decision-making while bringing classroom learning to life. This is always a highlight of the year, and we can’t wait for our students to experience it!
