Dr. Seuss Dress-Up days were one of the highlights of our week:

Mrs. Goforth's class enjoyed "Tent" Day:

In PE, classes played Four Square Dodgeball:

Mrs. Hesterlee's class utilized our PAX program to earn 2 prizes this week: Heads Up 7-Up & Silent Ball! They sure do love playing the Good Behavior Game!

Mrs. Brown truly adores her students and pours her heart into empowering them for both present achievement and future success. She intentionally builds meaningful relationships with each child, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow. Passionate about her curriculum and committed to continuous self-improvement, she consistently refines her instructional strategies to better meet her students’ needs. Her dedication to seeing every child progress—academically and as responsible, contributing citizens—reflects her deep commitment to education and to the whole child.

How long have you been at Collinsville?

I was an aide for 10 years and have been teaching for 10 years

What is your favorite thing about teaching?

My students are my favorite part of teaching; I like being able to encourage and teach them beyond academics. To empower them, that they can do anything they believe they can

What is something funny your students have said?

Are you really married to Charlie Brown? LOL! :)

What is your favorite treat? 

My favorite treat is brownies and Coke Zero.

 

***I have been blessed beyond measure since I became a teacher. It is truly a calling.  I enjoy working with everyone at the CUE. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.
