Ms. King, 

How long have you been at Collinsville?

This is my first year at Collinsville, and I am excited to be part of such a welcoming school community.  It is also my first year teaching 4th grade!

What is your favorite thing about teaching?

My favorite thing about teaching is building relationships with my students and getting to know each of their unique personalities. I love to see their confidence grow throughout the year as they discover what they're capable of.

What is something funny your students have said?

My students are full of personality and always find ways to make me laugh.  The biggest highlight this year is when I unintentionally say 67, and the giggles, looks, and comments begin.  It always brings a smile to my face!

What is your favorite treat? 

My favorite treats are Kit Kats and Reese's Cups.  

**When I am not in the classroom, you can usually find me on the sidelines, watching my own kiddos play sports.
