CUE Cardinal Connection

Thank you to ALL of the families that donated to our Food Drive. What a blessing to support fellow Collinsville residents!

Our 5th grade students were given the opportunity to visit Tulsa Tech to experience career-driven opportunities for high school and beyond. We were excited to learn about professional pathways in the medical field, criminal justice, cosmetology, and much more!

This year, the CUE is dedicated to our theme of UNITY. As a unified team, we are working together to meet school-wide goals with our Star Benchmark testing. Our Winter Benchmark will be December 2nd and 3rd. We encourage families to engage in discussion about our CUE goals and individual goals. Goal setting can increase student performance, resilience, motivation, fulfillment, and overall well-being. It takes a community of Committed and Unified members to truly create Excellence!

Our 3rd grade students paraded around Herald and the CUE to showcase their artistic creations.

Mrs. Routh creates a calm, safe, and welcoming environment for her students. She teaches with empathy, passion, and joy everyday. We are so blessed to have Mrs. Routh here at the CUE!

How long have you been at Collinsville?

I have lived in Collinsville with my family for over 5 years. I have taught 3rd grade at the CUE for almost 3 years now.

What is your favorite thing about teaching?

Teaching is so much fun. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing every student actively listen, learn, and have breakthroughs. I love watching their smiles grow from day to day; it’s what makes this work so rewarding.

What is your favorite treat?

My favorite drink is coffee, and my favorite treat is anything sweet or salty, sometimes both.
