TEACHER FEATURE

For this spotlight, we will be featuring a new staff member at the school!

This is Coach Dubbert and this is his 2nd year at Collinsville Middle School!

 

Where did you teach before coming to Collinsville?

I taught in Lincoln Christian.

What are your favorite hobbies out of school?

 I enjoy golfing, hanging out with friends and family, and being outdoors.

What do you like about Collinsville?

I like the school community and the pride the town shows for the school.

What do you like about teaching? 

I like helping students become the best version of themself, helping them to do more than they realize they can do.

If you could move to anywhere where would it be?

I would like to live somewhere in the mountains.

 

Shoutout to CMS Cheer for earning Runner-Up at the Game Day State Competition on November 1st, 2025!  We are so proud of you, Cardinals! They placed 2nd out of 11 teams at the Jeff and Craig Middle School 5A Game Day State Competition! 

 

 

Shoutout to CMS Choir:  These 7 singers auditioned for All-State Honor Choir on Saturday and will advance to the next round of auditions at Rose State College on Tuesday, November 18th:

Congratulations to all the Choir members who learned difficult music for the audition. These talented CMS singers participated in the Honor Choir Festival and did a fantastic job at the concert! Seven of these eight students will be moving on to the second round of All-State auditions on November 18th in Midwest City. Great work, Cardinals! 

 
 

 

Shoutout to Ms. Bertelli’s Advanced Art students and Mrs. Reynolds for teaching our CMS students how to do basket weaving! Great job sharing your creativity and skills!
