Welcome to CMS!

Hello March!

As we enter the second week of March, we are excited for spring break! Warmer weather is on the way, and we are hoping for clear, sunny skies ahead.

6th- 12th Grades 2nd Semester Spring 2026 Test Exemption Plan

3/9-3/13: There are no sports scheduled this week.

For this spotlight, we will be featuring a new staff member at the school!

This is Ms. Trost and this is her 2nd year at Collinsville Middle School!

Where did you teach before coming to Collinsville?

I did not teach anywhere previously.

What are your favorite hobbies out of school?

Camping, paddle boarding, reading, cooking and playing with my dog (Letty)

What do you like about Collinsville?

I like how everybody is looking after each other.

What do you like about being an teacher?

I like helping kids understand literature.

If you could move to anywhere where would it be?

I would move to North Carolina.

Shoutout to Mrs. Williams in the CMS Library for hosting such a successful Book Fair! Thank you for all your hard work in making it a great experience for our students!

Shoutout to our CMS FCCLA students for attending the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma on March 5, 2026! Thank you for giving your time to pack food and boxes for community members in need. We are proud of you for serving our community and making a difference!

As we move through the second week of March, flowers are starting to bloom and the excitement for spring break is in the air. We are looking forward to the fun and relaxation ahead!
