For this spotlight, we will be featuring a new staff member at the school!

This is Mrs. Green and this is her 5th year at Collinsville Middle School!

Where did you teach before coming to Collinsville?

This is where I started my teaching career.

What are your favorite hobbies out of school?

Spending time with my husband and son. I enjoy reading and watching movies when I have the time.

What do you like about Collinsville?

I love the people I work with. I went to school here so it just feels like home.

What do you like about teaching? 

Connecting with my students and making them feel heard and welcomed in my classroom. 

If you could move to anywhere where would it be?

Somewhere warm 24/7.

       Shoutout to our Digital Media students! 

Shoutout to our Digital Media students for attending their field trip on Friday, January 9, 2026, to Cherokee Films Studio! Students had the exciting opportunity to see real film sets and meet film producers, giving them an inside look at the industry. It was an amazing hands-on learning experience—great job representing CMS! 

 

                  Shoutout to our CMS Leadership students! Shoutout to our CMS Leadership students for planning our Winter Semi-Formal Dance! They worked incredibly hard to promote, plan, and execute this amazing event for our students. Their dedication and teamwork truly paid off—great job making it such a success! 

 
 

We hope you enjoyed your first week back at school. Be sure to work hard for good grades this semester and make attendance a priority. Let’s make it a great one!
