For this spotlight, we will be featuring a new staff member at the school!

This is Mr. J and this is his 12th year at Collinsville Middle School!

Where did you teach before coming to Collinsville?

I did not teach anywhere else.

What are your favorite hobbies out of school?

I like doing stuff on my 4 wheeler.

What do you like about Collinsville? 

The small town and getting to know the people.

What do you like about teaching? 

The feeling of impacting young peoples lives.

If you could move to anywhere where would it be? 

I would move to Grand Lake.

 
 

Shoutout to Layla Ellington and Scarlett McMath for competing at FCCLA Regional STAR Events! Congratulations to Layla for placing 2nd and advancing to the State Competition in March. We are so proud of you both—great job representing CMS!

 

Shoutout to our 8th grade students for successfully completing their U.S. Citizenship Test in Social Studies! We are proud of your hard work and dedication. 

 

 

 

 

As we move into the second week of February, we wrap up winter sports and continue to look ahead to exciting events this month, including the Super Bowl. Let’s keep the momentum going!
