Welcome to CMS!

Hello February!

It is the last week of February! The cold temperatures are going away. We are so close to entering the next season spring!

The CMS Book Fair will be open from February 23rd through February 27th. Students will have the chance to SHOP for books and other fun items.

TEACHER FEATURE

For this spotlight, we will be featuring a new staff member at the school!

This is Ms. Crutchfield and this is her 2nd year at Collinsville Middle School!

Where did you teach before coming to Collinsville?

I taught at Jenks and Edmond.

What are your favorite hobbies out of school?

I enjoy reading, watching tv and hanging out with friends.

What do you like about Collinsville? 

The community is very close and I am from here. Our school is very supportive.

What do you like about being an teacher

I enjoy helping students succeed.

If you could move to anywhere where would it be? 

Colorado.

 
 

Shoutout to our CMS TSA students who attended the mini conference on February 10! 

Congratulations to Reagan Lance, Yesenia Lugo, Madison Farmer, and Caroline Watson for earning 1st place in Robotics. Great job to Vann Felkins and Jaxson Kallam for placing 1st in Drones, and to Bronson Torres and Noah Eden (6th grade) for earning 3rd place in Drones!

We are so proud of your hard work and success—way to represent CMS! 

 

Shoutout to our CMS FCS students for working so hard during their sewing unit! 
They showed creativity and dedication while making their own emoji pillows and expressing their unique personalities. This was the perfect project to wrap up their hard work learning new hand-sewing techniques. Great job, everyone! 

 

 

Shoutout to our 7th & 8th grade girls JH basketball teams for being Metro Lakes Conference Champions! 

We are so proud of your hard work, teamwork, and dedication. Way to represent CMS—great job, ladies! 

 

 

As February comes to an end, warmer weather is moving in and spring is right around the corner. Have a great rest of your February!
