Hello February!

As we reach the end of February, the chilly air is starting to warm up. We hope everyone had a great four-day weekend and is ready for a strong week ahead!

This is Officer Hodges and this is his 6th year at Collinsville Middle School!

Where did you teach before coming to Collinsville?

I was a Police officer in Tulsa.

What are your favorite hobbies out of school?

Anything water related. I like surfing.

What do you like about Collinsville? 

I like the people and the small town community.

What do you like about being an officer 

I like being able to help and keep the students safe.

If you could move to anywhere where would it be? 

Florida.

Shoutout to our LEAD OK students for visiting the North County Senior Living Home on Thursday, February 12, 2026! They brought each resident a handmade Valentine’s card and a heart-shaped box of chocolates. Students and residents also played Valentine’s Day themed bingo and enjoyed spending time with the residents. Thank you for showing our elders so much love this Valentine’s Day season!

Shoutout to our CMS students who attended Beyond Middle School Day on Wednesday, February 11, 2026! Our 8th graders had the opportunity to explore electives at CHS and learn more about what’s ahead. A special thank you to the CHS students who helped make this day a success. Way to prepare for the future, Cardinals!
