Happy first week of December! As we start the month, we welcome the winter weather and begin getting ready for the holiday spirit.

For this spotlight, we will be featuring a new staff member at the school!

This is Mrs. Mitchell and this is her 7th year at Collinsville Middle School!

Where did you teach before coming to Collinsville?

I have only taught at Collinsville.

What are your favorite hobbies out of school?

Working out at the gym, hanging out with my kids, playing with my dogs and reading books.

What do you like about Collinsville?

The students and the district not being big. 

What do you like about teaching?

The students and seeing them understand.

If you could move to anywhere where would it be?

 The Caribbean Island.

December is a month of lights, frost, and Christmas spirit. It’s a time to make amends, tie up loose ends, finish what you started, and let your wishes come true. We hope you have a wonderful winter!
