As August comes to a close, we’re ready to soar into September! The new month is bringing lots of excitement our way—including our upcoming school dance. Get ready for some fun times ahead!

CMS EVENTS

Student Arrival & Dismissal

  • Student Arrival: 8:30 a.m. Tardy Bell: 8:45 a.m. Student Dismissal: 3:30 p.m.

  • Car riders and walkers will enter and exit the building from the south entrance on Spring Street to help with traffic flow. Center Street is for buses only from 8-9 a.m. and 3-4 p.m.

All students must have a completed Chromebook Device Agreement and Protection Plan for the 2025-2026 school year to use their school Chromebooks.

For this spotlight, we will be featuring a new teacher at the school!

This is Ms. Chester, and this is her 1st year teaching in Collinsville!

Where did you teach before coming to Collinsville?

I have not taught before. I coached softball at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. 

What are your favorite hobbies out of school?

Traveling, big book reader, watching sports with my family .

What do you like about Collinsville?

It is a family environment & good community.

What do you like about teaching?

Learning about the kids and seeing them learn. 

If you could move to anywhere where would it be?

Greece. It is pretty and I like the beach.
