Students and staff are welcome to participate every month in a monthly genre reading challenge! Each month, the genres will change but there will always be two different genres offered for the challenge.
September's genres are Fantasy and Myth!
Participants will read a book(s) corresponding to the monthly genres and, when finished, come to the library and fill out a slip of paper with their book cover, name, and 1-5 star rating! The book can be a library book or a book from home as long as it is school-appropriate. The slips of paper will be displayed on the challenge board in the library. There is no incentive or prize, only the fun of seeing how many books we can read as a school!
See Mrs. Hamby in the Library for more info!
Congratulations to the Athletic Hall of Fame class of 2024!

Kelli Hutchinson is planning her fourth European trip to allow students to experience a world completely different from theirs in 2026. Hutchinson and 39 other students are going to be visiting Paris, France where they will get to experience new cuisines, see iconic art pieces, and interact with another culture. Having visited Paris, London, and Italy in 2014, 2016, and 2019, respectively, Hutchinson has gained trust with her tour guide service: EF Tours. Everyone who travels will attend supervised activities and “free days” where the group will be paired with another group from across the US to choose what they would like to do for the day. Visiting the Eiffel Tower, seeing the Mona Lisa, and eating food unlike anything our Collinsville students have eaten before are just a few of the new and exciting experiences that they will get to remember.
