National Signing Day: Military Recognition Day
Monday, November 11th
Military Recognition Day is for seniors who will be serving in the military following high school graduation. This will take place in the HS Commons (cafeteria) on November 11th at 2:15 PM. The Activities Office will share signing day photographs and information with the local media. All seniors have been emailed a National Signing Day Google Form to sign up for the recognition.

CHS Highlights
Cardinals for Cancer
In a show of solidarity, Collinsville High School students and staff gathered together and wore pink on Friday, November 1st in support of Elizabeth Sonnenfeld, who is bravely battling breast cancer. Students were eager to show appreciation and encouragement for their adored math teacher. We wish nothing but the absolute best for Elizabeth.

FFA Accomplishments!
Collinsville FFA was recognized last week in Indianapolis as a National Two Star Chapter!
FFA members spend the entire school year creating a program of events and attending activities that correspond with this award application. In May, they spend hours completing the application which must include 15 activities, 3 goals for every activity, an impact for each activity and photos of the events. These applications are judged over the summer at the state level and only a handful are selected to advance to the national level where they are judged again. Congrats FFA!
Follow-Up on Aubrianna Smith!
We announced a while back that Aubrianna Smith was selected to perform at the National FFA Convention. Throughout convention she performed in the Talent contest where she made it to the semi finals round of the contest. As a talent performer she also made scheduled appearances at "The Garage" which is a very trendy location in downtown Indianapolis, the Arts Garden, and in Lucas Oil Stadium! Not many high school students can say they have performed in locations like Lucas Oil Stadium in front of thousands. Congrats Aubrianna!
