CHS Highlights

Choir

WE HAVE SOME ALL-STATE SINGERS IN OUR SCHOOL!  Congratulations to eight of our Advanced Choir members who successfully passed auditions to be included in the prestigious All-State Honor Choirs, which will be held the last weekend in January.

Sophomores Ingrid Benedict, Lola Benedict, Jace Burwell, Jeremy McGrew, Jaylie Shilling and Lilly Shope will be joined by Juniors Sophia Hahn and Ethan Humphreys to rehearse and perform in Tulsa.  Congratulations to you eight for earning top choir honors for our entire state.

Way to go, Choir!

E-Sports

Three of our students competed Friday at the East Area Tournament for Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. They battled over 70 other players to try to qualify for state competition in the Spring. Cole, Jace, and Nathan ranked well, but did not qualify this time. They have three more chances to go to state by being top 8 in open tournaments in February and March. Last Friday's match took place at Waypoint Lounge (an esports arena) in Sapulpa. If anyone is interested in esports competition, please contact Coach Woods or Coach Johnson.

All students enrolled in Mrs. Martinez's English IV will attend their regular schedule; the sign-up is only for virtual students.
