A group of 14 female students interested in STEM careers attended a Career Day at ConocoPhillips in Bartlesville. This event included a Job Showcase (providing exposure to different jobs in Technology), hands-on activities, a tour of our campus, lunch, motivational speaker, and a Resume Workshop. This event is put on by their GirlsTalkTech committee. Their mission is to educate all young ladies in the different fields that reside within STEM careers. Our main objectives for Career Day are to encourage students, provide valuable information, reduce the stigma, exposure to a professional work environment, introduce various jobs and open the door to possibilities.
