Book Fair - February 3rd - 7th
Students are welcome to visit during passing period and lunch, but they are not to be late to class. If there is a long line and some students are late, Mrs. Hamby will send them with a note or ask them to come by later.
All proceeds will help buy books for the library.

CHS HIGHLIGHTS
Mrs. Hamby
This year is Beth Hamby’s 3rd year as a school librarian and building test coordinator in Collinsville. Before she came to the high school, she worked at Collinsville Middle School for two years. As the high school librarian, Mrs. Hamby says that her biggest job, “is to get students reading!” She enjoys recommending books and helping students find the perfect book, genre, or author for their interests.
She hosts monthly reading challenges for CHS staff and students, collaborates with teachers on assignments and research projects for their classrooms, and helps brainstorm ideas for engaging lessons. In the future, she hopes to continue improving the library’s book collection and technology resources as well as showing students that the library is a place for continuous, “learning, growth, and research!”
