Parents - Student enrollment for the 2025-2026 has officially opened. Please check our website at the link below for more information. Each year, parents/guardians are required to update and confirm information for all Collinsville Public Schools students. Please complete registration by May 31, 2024.
Collinsville High School will be offering two summer driver’s education classes. The cost to attend either class will be $300.00 and enrollment will be based on a first come-first served basis. Students are qualified to take the class if they are or turn 15 during the session.
The first session will be held in June with the second session being held in July. Please send an email with your desire to attend to Mr. Johnston at the middle school. His email address is pjohnston@collinsville.k12.ok.us
It was a dark and stormy night. Suddenly a shot rang out in the darkness! A body fell to the floor dead! Ms. Sonnenfeld's Honors Algebra II students analyzed the clues using their knowledge of exponential and logarithmic functions to determine who had motive; was it a cause for murder?! And then there was the issue of opportunity, the students used Newton's Law of Cooling to determine the time of death so they could determine which of the suspects had opportunity. Just as the detectives were about to declare the name of the murderer, the lights went out in the room! A man screamed! A woman screamed! Two shots rang out in the darkened room! When the lights came back on, there stood the detectives over the wounded body of the murderer . . .
On Thursday, April 10th, FCCLA attended the State Leadership Conference in Tulsa, where Collinsville High School FCCLA had 8 students place in their State-wide competitive events. These students were then recognized in front of over 5,000 FCCLA members on stage. Congratulations to the following students who placed in the top 3 for their events:
Kaelyn Sappington and Ella Phelps received 1st place in Spotlight on Projects
Trinidy Boggs received 1st place in Sports Nutrition
Jaylee Ellington received 1st place in Food Innovation
Melinda Lor received 1st place in Say Yes to FACS Education
Carly Acee and Rhett Burwell received 2nd place in Sports Nutrition
Ellie Reeder received 3rd place in Public Policy Advocate
All 1st and 2nd-place winners advance to the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL this July!
